Description

Don't be without a Belly Band! Works in all chutes. Also designed for lifting and supporting llamas and alpacas from an overhead beam.
The Alpaca/Llama Belly Band can be used as a tool to aid in lifting your llama or alpaca up off of the ground when they cannot get up on their own, and /or when you need a little assistance to get them up off of the ground. Provides firm support and comfort for lifting Llamas or Alpacas - whether they are sick or injured or for animals that drop down when handled for toenail trimming. Designed for use with a restraining chute or it can be attached to beams or rafters overhead by using the ratchet straps provided. Band is made with double layer soft pliable and sturdy auto grade vinyl. End straps are made of 2" wide industrial strength strapping.
This belly band may or may not be able to solely support your animal, depending on the specific mobility issues your animal is experiencing. We recommend that you use hay bales propped under the animal, or straps or a blanket/sheet wrapped around the chest and hind quarters for stability when you have an animal that is able to use either it's front legs or hind legs to push itself forward or backward.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR ANIMAL UNATTENDED WHEN IT IS SUSPENDED IN THE BELLY BAND AS THEY COULD FALL FORWARD OR BACKWARD WITHOUT ADEQUATE SUPPORT IN ADDITION TO THE BELLY BAND.

Order today, don't wait til you desperately need one.

Complete with 2 ratchet straps.

Indicate whether you'd like an Alpaca or Llama sling when ordering. Alpaca Belly Band measures 15" wide and 37" long (band only). The handles/straps on either end add an additional 14" in length.
