The Arsenis Hand Shear features a lightweight composite handle, double bow design, 6" carbon steel blades that stay sharp, and a tension screw that allows for adjustments to keep the shears operating in top form. The blades are extremely sharp and cut easily through fiber. The Arsenis Hand Shear weighs only 10 ounces and stays sharp much longer than traditional hand shears. When they do finally need a little touch-up sharpening, you won't need to send them somewhere or purchase special equipment. You can sharpen them yourself with a diamond stone or diamond steel. These hand shears are easy to take care of after use - simply wipe them with a dry cloth (not wet), lubricate them with a lightweight oil, wrap in a cloth and store in a dry place.
