This weight tape can be used to estimate the weight of your llama or alpaca, which can help you monitor growth, health, and nutritional status. It can be used also for estimating dosages for medications such as dewormers and probiotics. When using the weight tape, you will want to measure at your animal's smallest heart girth...directly behind the front legs with the tape pulled tight (so as not to be exaggerated by the fiber). There is a diagram on the weight tape which illustrates where you should place the tape.
