Treatment Blindfold for Llamas & Alpacas

For many llamas and alpacas, simply blocking their vision has a remarkable calming effect. When they can't see what's happening around them, they tend to stand quietly and cooperate more readily — making procedures like medical treatments, toenail trimming, shearing, and grooming go more smoothly for everyone involved.

Our Treatment Blindfold is crafted from water-resistant, breathable black nylon fabric that gently blocks light and visibility without causing discomfort. It fits directly over your animal's existing halter, so you stay in full control at all times. A convenient ear opening and adjustable Velcro chin strap ensure a secure, comfortable fit that goes on and comes off quickly and easily.

One price for all sizes — please specify your desired size when ordering.

Sizing Guide:

• X-Small — Young weanling alpacas and llama crias, approximately 3–4 months old
• Small — Weanling to yearling llamas, and yearling to adult alpacas with smaller to average size heads and minimal head wool
• Medium — Adult alpacas with very large heads or significant head wool, and 2-year-old up to adult llamas with smaller heads
• Large — Adult llamas with very large heads

Please note: Head wool can affect fit. If your animal has a lot of head wool — or a recently shorn topknot — please keep this in mind when selecting your size.
